The Historic building was built in 1889, while the Contemporary building was built much more recently, both feature different looks and feels.. Additionally, there are more modern amenities in the Contemporary building, featuring microwaves and built-in air-conditioning in all of the rooms, though portable AC units can be put in Historic rooms. They both feature different types of rooms, but the Historic rooms share the building with our restaurant and spa, while the Contemporary rooms are near our Rooftop Bar & Lounge.

Yes! We feature guest-only parking right behind the hotel.

Yes. Most of the nearby parking spots are available without any penalty, and even most of the limited street parking spots have no penalty for overnight parking.

Yes! We have a Tesla charging station with room for two vehicles. They are designed for Tesla vehicles only.

We feature a large number of pet-friendly rooms, particularly in our Historic building, though the dog must be under 35 lbs and there is a $50 cleaning charge. This comes with a list of pet-friendly locations in Anacortes and treats for your dog!

We do not have one, but there is a local swimming pool less than a mile away!

The Apothecary Spa in our Historic building features a Eucalyptus Steam Room.

Of course! We’d be happy to extend your check out to 11:30 AM at no charge. If you’d like to sleep in longer we also offer a 1 PM check out for a $50.00 fee.

In order to pay for another guest’s room we will need a credit card authorization form accompanied by copies of the credit card as well as the card holder’s ID. You may receive the form via email or you may come to the Majestic in person to fill out the form.

Anacortes has a wonderful appreciation for the arts. The first Friday of every month up to 30 merchants or more open their doors for guests to admire and purchase art, jewelry and sculpture from local artists and collectors. The Majestic has a different featured artist every month!

We love to grind our locally roasted coffee fresh for all of our guests downstairs at the Front Desk. You may visit the front desk at anytime to get some more! Our organic fair trade coffee comes from Moka Joe Roasters; which is just five miles away from the Majestic.

We have a full service restaurant located in our Historic Building which offers local cuisine and a unique happy hour dining experience.

Happy hour is 3-6pm every day, with an additional 9-12 later in the day on Fridays and Saturdays!

The rooftop bar & lounge is open and serving seasonally; May through September. During the off-season we open the roof for viewing for guests to enjoy the view of the San Juan Islands.

The cupola is past the 5th floor, and can be reached via the stairs or taking the elevator to the 4th floor and then going up one and a half flights of stairs. It’s the highest point in downtown Anacortes and features a 360 view of the area!
